The quasi-static profile of isolated spectral lines perturbed by proton interactions is studied. The binary approximation and the semiclassical perturbation theory are used in the present calculation. It is shown that the quasi-static wings of ionic spectral isolated lines perturbed by proton interactions are negligible when compared to electron impact Lorentz profiles for the physical conditions of stellar envelopes.
