The delta m2 parameter of the Geneva system is calibrated in terms of /Fe/H/ abundance values taken from the catalog of Morel et al. (1976). Calibrations are performed for F and G stars as well as for 18 metal-poor stars, and the results are compared with previous calibrations. It is concluded that when a relation is determined between /Fe/H/ and a photometric metal-abundance parameter, it is necessary to specify the source of the /Fe/H/ values used in the calibration, the spectral range over which the calibration is valid, and the /Fe/H/ interval for which the calibration is linear.
