Polarimetry has long promised to provide the means to determine the geometrical structure of unresolved sources. However, in practice, these results have been limited by the degeneracy of different models that produce the same level of polarization. Breaking these degeneracies requires additional information about the source. In particular, one must employ all available observational data along with physically reasonable theoretical models of the system. Here, we discuss the methods we have developed to use the wavelength-dependence of medium resolution spectropolarimetry, in combination with accurate, optically thick, 3-D NLTE Monte Carlo simulations of the radiation transfer, to determine the geometry and temperature structure of gaseous circumstellar disks.
