This paper briefly illustrates the synthesis of nine short-lived radioactive isotopes in a particular 25 M&sun; stellar model and evaluates the possibility that several of the extinct radioactivities in the solar system arose from injection by supernova explosion of such a star. With this particular stellar model, it may be possible to explain the early solar system abundances of 26Al, 36Cl, 41Ca, 60Fe, 129I, and 182Hf by incorporation of the outer layers of the star into CAIs 106 years after the supernova, although this particular model would have difficulty explaining the recently reported high inferred early solar-system abundance for 36Cl. The yield of 53Mn from the model is such that injection would lead to too much of this isotope in the early solar nebula unless the inner layers of the supernova fall back onto a black hole or are simply not incorporated into the solar cloud.
