We use photometric and spectroscopic data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey to isolate and study the kinematics of stars associated with the Sagittarius streams. These features are thought to be the tidal debris of the disrupting Sagittarius dwarf galaxy. In order to trace this substructure, blue horizontal branch stars are identified photometrically. The obvious advantage of using BHB stars to probe the Galactic halo is that they are standard candles and hence provide distance determinations with accuracies of tens of percent. Stellar velocities obtained by SDSS are accurate to 10 to 30 km/s, and are available for over 10,000 A-colored stars. Our sample ranges 15.5
