Observational data on the structure of the nebular condensation in the core of the Orion Nebula and the physical mechanisms involved are examined. The data were gathered mainly with bidimensional photometry of emission lines, revealing the presence of six quasi-stellar condensations in the Nebula. Ionization and recombination have indicated partially ionized globules with neutral cores. Further consideration of the stability of the globules, which are hypothesized being eaten away by the ionized medium in which they reside, are presented, noting that instabilities could arise from either thermal or gravitational forces. Further data are required in terms of spectral measurements in the UV and the visible in order to determine the diameters, temperatures, densities, and the velocity fields of the globules.
