Turbulence plays a crucial role in facilitating magnetic reconnection in collisionally dominated plasmas. Here I will review our current understanding of how fast reconnection can take place when the resistivity is negligibly small. This process is strongly constrained and can only occur if the turbulent cascade gives rise to a fractal distribution of current sheets. I will also discuss progress towards the numerical simulation of stochastic reconnection.
