A design for a high-speed, flat-field photo-visual optical system is
presented. The system consists of a sub-aperture, two-element lens
assembly in the converging beam from a hyperboloidal primary mirror.
Excellent performance is obtained in a design that can be easily
constructed by advanced amateur telescope makers.
