We started in April 2003 a program of IJHK photometry of Centaurs and TNOs with the CFHT-IR infrared camera mounted on the 3.6 m Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT). This program aimed at complementing and increasing the scientific output of our visible BVRI photometric survey started in 2000 using mainly the CFHT12k camera.
The latest results of the Meudon Multicolor Survey (2MS), extended to the infrared - which includes one observing run with 4.2 m William Hershel Telescope -, raise to about 40 quasi-simultaneous visible and near-infrared colors.
Combining our 2MS sample with the latest compilation of visible and near-infrared colors by Delsanti et al. (2006, AJ, 131:1851-1863) - mostly obtained under the ESO Large Program, using 8 m Very Large Telescope -, provides a data-sample of about 60 objects.
This sample allows to initiate an extended characterization of the colors properties of Centaurs and TNOs from the B (0.4 micron) to the K (2.2 micron) regime.
We will discuss: (i) the color-color and color-orbital-parameters correlations detected and undetected, now computing also the confidence intervals and not only the confidence levels of each correlation; and (ii) the presence of surface reflectivity inflections among Centaurs.
