We present the first results of a Spitzer IRAC wide-field (1.3 sq. deg) survey of two regions of the Coma cluster. Thanks to the efficiency of the IRAC instrument, and very low sky background at 3.6µm, we have been able to dramatically improve constraints on the faint end of the near-IR Coma Luminosity Function (LF) down to m(3.6µm)=17. The LFs for two different regions of the cluster (core and off-center) both have steep faint-end slopes (α -2.2 and -2.6 respectively), with the difference possibly caused by environmental effects. A qualitative comparison with optical LFs from the same two regions of Coma shows that we may have detected a larger population of dwarf galaxies in the near-IR that may be, for instance, a low-surface brightness population that IRAC may be particularly sensitive to, or a population too red to be detected in the optical bands down to R=20.
