The measurement of hydrogen recombination lines between approximately 1.7 and 4.6 microns in G333.6 to 0.2 provides an accurate measure of the near infrared extinction and allows determination of the stellar contribution to be observed continuum. The near infrared stellar continuum is compatible with the observed bolometric luminosity and the ionization structure of the nebula only if the exciting source is a massive premansequence star (approximately 150 solar masses) or a small system of 0 type supergiants.
