The STEREO mission was launched in Oct 2006, and has currently completed lunar swingbys. The instrument is operating normally, however spacecraft jitter causes an increase in scattered light on one side of the image and a decrease on the opposite side. Because it changes from one image to the next, this scattered light requires special processing on the ground. We present a method for reducing this effect using data from the Guide Telescope.
