Observations of the binary pulsar PSR 1913 + 16 made at the Arecibo Observatory are reported. The analysis of these data yields orbital parameters of the binary system which are in agreement with those obtained by J. Taylor (1979) and his collaborators. In particular, the data are consistent with the derived rate of change of the orbital period being attributed to gravitational radiation reaction.
