Stationary rotationally symmetric perfect fluid spacetimes are studied. We formulate the Einstein equations with a cosmological constant in a corotating Lorentz triad, and all stationary symmetric perfect fluid solutions to 2+1 Einstein gravity are derived. Stationary spacetimes containing perfect fluids with a constant energy density and a linear or a polytropic barotropic equation of state are explicitly shown. All known static circularly symmetric perfect fluid spacetimes can be obtained from the here derived stationary cosmological perfect fluid solutions.
