The detection of a very faint burst in the hard X-ray range is reported. The burst, having a peak intensity of approximately 7x10 to the -9th power erg/sq cm in the 20 to 120 KeV range, was detected by means of two of the four detectors on board the HXR-81 balloon borne hard X-ray telescope (POKER) during a transmediteranean flight. The spectrum of the burst is given and analyzed to check the presence of emission or absorption features.
