Scientific paper
Variation of latitude data, which must be applied to fundamental meridian circle observations, have been taken from various sources by different observatories. This study shows that the differences in the polar motion data applied can have a significant effect on the individual observations, as well as the overall catalog resulting from the meridian circle program.
