The 1982 version of the Variations Seculaires des Orbites Planetaires (VSOP 82) is composed of perturbations developed up to the third order for the masses of all the planets. Perturbations up to the sixth order have been obtained by an iterative method to complete the theory for the four outer planets, and the perturbations of the moon onto the earth-moon barycenter, along with relativistic perturbations expressed in isotropic and standard coordinates, have been incorporated. The integration constants are determined by means of an adjustment to the numerical integration designated DE 200.
