The preliminary results of a 100 ks Suzaku observation of the Compton thick Circinus galaxy are reported. Our spectral analysis confirms previous results from BeppoSax, that the broad band X-ray spectrum is composed of a Comption reflection component which dominates the X-ray emission below $\sim 10$ keV, and a Compton transmitted component dominates the spectrum above $\sim 15$ keV. The intrinsic spectrum of Circinus galaxy can be described by a power-law, with $\Gamma \sim 1.4$ and a high energy cut-off of $E_c \sim 36$ keV. The obscuring column density between the AGN and the observer is $\sim 560$ cm$^{-2}$. We report a tentative $\sim 15\%$ variability in the 12-50 keV PIN light curve. We discuss the nature of this variability.
