The SWIFT gamma ray observatory's Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) has detected a sample of active galactic nuclei (AGN) based solely on their hard X-ray flux (15-150 keV) (Markwardt et al. 2005). With approximately 200 BAT AGN sources, and an expected sample of 400 within the next two years, the potential scientific gain from a multi-wavelength study of the first such unbiased (unaffected by absorption or dilution from starlight), flux limited AGN sample is great. We present XMM follow-ups of 22 BAT AGN sources never before observed in the X-ray band. We present X-ray spectra and light curves as well as UV data for these objects.
