The results of high resolution spectroscopy and radial velocity
monitoring are presented for IRAS 22272+5435, a carbon-rich star in the
transition phase from the AGB to the planetary nebula. The circumstellar
lines of C2 Swan system and CN Red system were identified. Significant
variations in the strength of molecular lines are observed.
