Solar Active Regions: Magnetograms, Solar Magnetic Fields: Evolution

Scientific paper

The active region NOAA 7321 was a new emerging flux region in October, 1992. A series of photospheric vector magnetograms, chromospheric magnetograms and Dopplergrams of this active region were obtained with a video vector magnetograph at the Huairou Solar Observation Station. The distribution of magnetic polarities in this active region was in reverse of the Hale-Nicholson rule. The shear of the photospheric magnetic field formed in the emerging process of magnetic flux and it was accompanied with flares.
