Quasars: Optical Variations
Scientific paper
Astronomers have recently started to study optical quasar variability in a series of simultaneous observing campaigns. Only such an international collaboration guarantees sufficiently sampled lightcurves of quasars exhibiting intra-day variability. The JOMPQ is the first interantional cooperative long-term project to observe the variation in a large quasars sample.
