Some effects of the spontaneous creation of nucleons within atomic
nuclei are examined. It is shown that certain observed isotopic
abundance ratios are in sharp disagreement with those expected from a
recently proposed model of multiplicative creation based upon Dirac's
Large Numbers Hypothesis.
