Abundance ratios in the QSOs Q 1246-057, 0453-423, PKS 0528-250, Q 0002-422, and PKS 2126-158 are calculated using the 'curve of growth' method. The relative abundance of carbon with respect to silicon is calculated in the QSOs Q 1246-057, PKS 0528-250, Q0002-422, and PKS 2126-158. The relative abundance of aluminum with respect to silicon is calculated in the QSOs PKS 0528-250 and PKS 2126-158, and the relative abundance of iron with respect to magnesium is calculated in the QSOs Q 0453-423 and Q 0002-422. The ratios N(C)/N(Si), N(Al)/N(Si), and N(Fe)/N(Mg) in the QSOs considered as a class are found to be 3.45 + or - 2.33, 0.063 + or - 0.054, and 1.08 + or - 0.70, respectively. The ratios N(C)/N(Si) and N(Al)/N(Si) exhibit a mild trend of increase with decreasing emission redshift. On the other hand, the ratio N(Fe)/N(Mg) reveals a mild trend of decrease with decreasing emission redshift. This is seen as suggesting the possibility of the chemical evolution of QSOs.
