A program to detect and study for the first time solar-like cyclic behavior in the X-ray emission of stars similar to our Sun has been ongoing since XMM s AO-1. Five targets in three stellar systems have been monitored since 2000, providing for the first time evidence of long-term cyclic behavior in the X-ray luminosity of normal stars, with variations in X-ray luminosity of up to an order of magnitude. The present proposal requests continuation of the ongoing monitoring program into XMM AO-6, needed to progress toward the complete observation of at least one stellar activity cycle for our targets.
