The magnetic Bp stars, i.e., the helium-strong and helim-weak/silicon-strong stars, have well ordered, global magnetic fields and are hot enough to have weak, radiatively driven stellar winds. They are the only stars where we can study magnetic winds for which the approximate magnetic field structure is known. Magnetic winds are interesting in their own right. In addition, they provide an opportunity to look for unique signatures that can be used to identify magnetic winds in stars where the fields are too weak or complex to be observed directly.
