The oscillations spectra of Jupiter and Saturn taking into account the upper planetary levels are calculated for the first time. Complete models of Jupiter and Saturn are considered. They describe the interior structure up to the 1-bar level and, in addition, the troposphere and stratosphere of the planets. Direct numerical computations of planetary acoustic mode frequencies are carried out for the fundamental modes and for non radial modes with radial order up to 20 and degree up to 30. The results obtained from the models including the planetary troposphere and stratosphere, hence the temperature minimum at the tropopause, are compared with the ones with the interior structure models limited to the 1-bar pressure level. The differences of the oscillation frequencies due to the addition of the tropospheric and the stratospheric levels depend on the upper boundary condition. The analytical expressions of the tropospheric correction are given for both planets. The corrections are simple functions of the eigenfrequency and of the degree of the mode. These results are necessary for properly interpreting the future seismological observations of Jupiter and Saturn.
