The distributions and abundances of iron, chromium, barium, cerium, and lanthanum on the surface of 17 Com are presented. High resolution spectra in two 60 A-wide regions provided 19 lines suitable for mapping with our programs. Individual maps were produced for each spectral line; iron and chromium maps were used to produce average maps for these elements. Chromium and iron show essentially the same distribution; barium, cerium, and lanthanum have similar distributions which differ from that of iron and chromium. The abundances of iron and chromium vary over the surface of 17 Com by a factor of about 100.
