The catalogue of absolute magnitudes of periodic comets (Kresak and Kresakova, 1989) is updated by the inclusion of 86 cometary apparitions from the period 1988.0-1993.0, and the amendment of seven earlier apparitions for which the relevant photometric data were published within this period. The impacts of the new results on the previous general conclusions concerning the fading rates and peculiar cases of irregular brightness changes are discussed.
