A supernova remnant in the constellation Vela, position RA 08 h 34 m,
dec. -45° 45'. It extends to nearly 5° in diameter, and consists
of material expelled by a supernova an estimated 11 000 years ago. The
core of the supernova remains as the Vela Pulsar....
