Masses have been determined for the components of the Hyades spectroscopic binary HD 27130, which is found to be both double-line and eclipsing. They are significantly more massive than stars of the same luminosity that lie on the field star mass-luminosity relation. Since the solar neighborhood stars should be evolved off the zero-age (Hyades) main sequence, and since the Hyades may be metal rich, this result is to be expected without the necessity of postulating a helium abundance difference. By combining the mass obtained for HD 27130 with the visual binary data for Hyades stars, a dynamical parallax can be obtained. This results in a distance modulus of 3.4710.05, a value that is considerably larger than most astrometric determinations. Previously, it has been shown that minimum masses for two other double-line binaries in the Hyades, HD 27149 and vB 117, are also high relative to stars on the field star relation. Minimum distance moduli derived for the Hyades using these stars are 3.35 and 3.42 respectively.
