An analytical expression of the distribution of matter within galaxies is obtained. It is assumed that the distribution of matter within axisymmetrical spiral galaxies consists of three parts: the distribution declining exponentially along Z-axis in the shape of layers parallel with the symmetry plane, the distribution of concentric spheres, and a spherical nucleus highly concentrated at the galactic center. The Milky Way Galaxy is used as an example to determine the distribution of matter within galaxies, and results are compared with recent observational data showing good agreement.
