Broadband 10-micron and 3.8-micron measurements of 6 Seyfert 1 and 5 narrow-line X-ray galaxies are combined with existing near-infrared and optical photometry and UV spectra from the IUE archive in an investigation of the nuclear continua of Seyfert 1 and narrow-line X-ray galaxies. Evidence for a 9.7-micron silicate absorption provided by intermediate band photometry obtained around 10 microns is discussed, in addition to the correlation between 10-micron and X-ray luminosities. Power law spectra with indices in the range of alpha = 1.1-1.4 contribute significant fluxes from the infrared to the ultraviolets, and the broadband L-N color indices of the narrow-line galaxies are distributed more like the Seyfert 1s than the Seyfert 2s.
