A search for H2O maser emission sources was performed in the direction of the continuum H II region peaks situated from a galactic longitude of 290 to 334 deg. All positions of the known Type I OH masers and of the OH sources whose type is unknown and for which no H2O emission was previously reported were also investigated. In this survey, a total of 282 positions were observed, and 7 new sources were detected, making the total number of known H2O masers 69 in the galactic longitude range from 240 to 350 deg.
