Limiting period-color relations for contact binaries of low metal abundance are given. The relations are based on the full convection limit for the more massive components and apply over the range (Fe/H) = -0.47 to (Fe/H) = -2.26. Recently obtained data for W UMa systems in globular clusters NGC 5466 and NGC 4372 are consistent with these limits.
