We used the Plateau de Bure Interferometer to synthesize lambda-3mm absorption line profiles of (13)CO, HCO(+), and HCN in local gas seen toward the extragalactic continuum sources 0212+735, 0355+508 (National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) 150), and 2200+420 (BL Lac). The HCO(+) and HCN profiles are remarkable in having more and wider lines than CO seen in emission and absorption. The relative molecular abundances vary widely. For 11 velocity components we find less than N(HCO(+)) greater than or equal to 1.3 x 1012/sq cm; less than ((13)CO)/N(HCO(+)) greater than or approximately equal to 200, ranging from less than or equal to 50 to 1400; less than N((13)CO)/N(HCN) greater than or approximately equal to 120, ranging from less than or equal to 50 to 300; less than N(HCN)/N(HCO(+)) greater than or approximately equal to 1.9, ranging from 0.28 to 4.7.
