An expression is obtained for the interaction force of flattened magnetic clouds situated in an external uniform magnetic field. Regions of the mutual repulsion and attraction of the clouds are found. It is assumed that the solution obtained reflects certain characteristics of the interaction between interplanetary clouds in complex disturbances from flare series. The results are of interest in connection with the study of clouds in the geomagnetic tail.
