We report a refined position of IGR J08408-4503 based on data from the JEM-X X-ray monitor on INTEGRAL taken during the outburst on May 15th 2006 that led to the discovery of the source (ATEL #813). The best estimate of the position is RA = 08h 40m 48.7s, Dec = -45o 03' 41'' (J2000, +-46'' at 90% confidence). This strengthens the association of IGR J08408-4503 with the supergiant HD 74194 (ATELs #813, #814, #815), still contained in this smaller error box.
