The Deep European Near-Infrared southern sky survey (DENIS) has been observing the southern sky since the middle of 1994 on a full-time basis in the three bands of the near-infrared regime, namely I, J, K. Up to now, nealy 400 000 elementary images are already at disposal. In the frame of this project, our program was to recover all the asteroids observed during the survey and to determine their I, J, K magnitudes. The aim of our work is to enlarge the asteroids colorimetry data base to the near- infrared in order to inprove the knowledge of the compositionnal structure of the asteroid population. We present here our method of recovering and a first quantitative approach.
