His Multiple Scattering Method and computer code developed for phononic crystals and acoustic metamaterials constitutes a unique approach for studying complex artificial structures by deploying the tools and techniques of Condensed Matter Physics. Excellent researcher, speaker and teacher. In addition to his considerable contribution to the field phononic crystals, he was amongst the first to initiate the concept of multiphonon processes into the new field of Phoxonic crystals.
