Groups of galaxies and poor clusters of galaxies are best laboratories for studying history of the universe. The Fornax cluster is the nearest (about 20 Mpc) poor cluster with the smallest-iron mass-to-light ratio. In order to study temperature, entropy and metal distribution and constrain metal enrichment and thermal history in the intracluster medium, we propose to survey the Fornax cluster up to 0.3 times of the virial radius.
