We present X-ray and UV observations of the low-mass X-ray binary system X2127+119 (AC211), one of the few X-ray binary systems that is associated with a globular cluster. Our observations further strengthen the case that the X-ray emission from AC211 originates in an Accretion Disc Corona (ADC). The UV observations show that the UV continuum emission originates of the system, namely the accretion disc. In addition, we present the first ever detection of a C IV line at 1550 Å, which exhibits a prominent P Cygni profile.
