We made CCD surface photometry in B, V, R and I filters for two Sb barred galaxies: NGC 5757 and IC 1091. We obtained isophotal maps, inclination, orientation, integrated magnitudes, and diameters. We determined the luminosity and color profiles along the major and minor axis of the bars, as well as azimuthal profiles, for which we made Fourier decompositions. The results showed that the two galaxies have comparable dimensions, luminosity and global colors; the bars have similar stellar population and lengths, but are very different in shape and strength. NGC 5757, which has a strong bar, presents traces of recent star formation at its center.
