The International Planetary Probe Workshop is a forum for presentation and discussion of science objectives, techniques, instruments and missions for in-situ exploration of planetary atmospheres and surfaces. The fifth such international meeting was held recently in June, 2007 in Bordeaux France, where over 100 papers on in-situ exploration were presented. Highlights of innovative instrumentation presented at this meeting will be summarized. As well, priorities for future technological advances in instrumentation that would help significantly advance our understanding of planetary atmospheres -particularly for Venus and Titan - will be discussed.
