We present observations of active galactic nuclei (AGN) and BL Lac objects taken with the Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer (EUVE) during the all-sky survey. A total of eleven sources were detected at a significance of 3 sigma or better: five AGN, four BL Lac objects, and two quasars. The fraction of BL Lac objects is higher in our sample than in previous X-ray surveys, leading us to conclude that the extreme ultraviolet fluxes of AGN are reduced by absorption from neutral gas that would not be present in BL Lac objects. The light curve of PKS 2155--304 shows a drop of a factor of two over the five day scanning observation; no other sources showed significant variability. This work has been supported by NASA contract NAS5-30180.
