High-resolution IRAS maps and ground-based IR photometry are presented for two regions of the nearby Chamaeleon I dark cloud. The selected regions contain the young embedded B9/AO stars HD 97048 and 97300 and their reflection nebulae CED 111 and 112. Fifteen IR sources are detected altogether, three of which are not listed in the IRAS Point Source Catalog. Reliable estimates of the flux densities in the IRAS pass-bands are obtained for each source, and combined with ground-based data in the wavelength range 1-13 microns to deduce spectral energy distributions and infrared luminosities for the pre-main-sequence population. The results confirm that these two regions are centers of low-mass star formation.
